I have fond memories of my first shoot with the Russells. For one, they are such a fun and lively family, and secondly, they were the first family I ever shot! So I was more than thrilled when they asked me to take their photos again!
Chelsea had said that she wanted a picnic, which I thought was such a cute idea. So that evening I found myself painting a picnic basket turquoise to go with their cute outfits!
While shooting their eldest separately, she said "may I look at the photos you just took of me?" Of course I would oblige, those endearing eyes. Then with delight she cried, "ooooh, yeah, I really, really like that one, and that one." Then in the tone of a sage professional, she looked me right in the eye and said "you can delete the others." I just about died laughing, but tried to keep a serious face to let her know that I understood her wishes!
And then there is their youngest, who is always full of energy and expressions. Even, while running a temperature (as I find out later), she was able to ham it up!
As always dear Russells, thank you for the fun!
