Elk Grove Photographer, The Chappel Family

I was thrilled to photograph the Chappel family, the first of my trial "mini sessions".
"That was so quick," Kat and Bob commented. Pain free considering the amount of prep getting the outfits together and a mound of shopping bags still left on the bed. It's funny, I always hope that people can just throw things together, and try to avoid any potential stress of picking the best outfit, but alas, we all do! Whether we do it because we like the excuse to buy new outfits, or because a picture seems so permanent is unknown. Or perhaps it is because inevitably, our husbands do not happen to own the same bright pink shirt as our child's dress? (I feel your pain Kat-that would be one tall order to fill!) I equate a photo session to a wedding- there seems to be a whole lot of planning involved, and then it's over in the blink of an eye. Kat and the families' work paid off-they looked great, and even though Bob was not adorned in hot pink, he still made the grade.
Thanks for a memorable session!
